Using the site

JokeEmpire is free to read and free to share. You may quote jokes in conversation, in a speech or on social media, and every joke has a permalink made for exactly that.

What you may not do is copy the library wholesale — automated scraping, bulk republishing of the collection, or reselling it as your own product is not permitted.

Accounts

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. One person, one account.

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We can suspend an account that is used for spam, harassment or repeated copyright infringement.

Submitting jokes

When you submit a joke you confirm it is yours to submit, and you give JokeEmpire permission to publish it on the site. You keep the right to use your own joke anywhere else.

Submissions are reviewed before publication. Anything hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or copied from another site is rejected — and repeated attempts cost the account.

Content and liability

Humour is subjective and some sections, especially dark humour, are marked as such for a reason. Jokes are published for entertainment and are not statements of opinion by the site owner.

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for anything that follows from repeating a joke you found here.

Changes

These terms can change as the site grows. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site.
